Description

Armor Australia’s maritime armour solutions have been developed to provide lightweight protection to critical areas of Naval or Civilian vessels from the threat of light to medium calibre projectiles.

Whether it is a small Fast Attack Craft, Large Naval Fleet Vessel or a Luxury Yacht, Armor has designed and produced engineered solutions that meet strict end user requirements for weight, performance and durability.

Solutions can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of each Maritime Platform using a variety of materials such as Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), Aramid and Ceramics such as Silicon Carbide and Alumina Oxide. Combinations of these materials can be used in a Stand Alone (SA) or In Conjunction With (ICW) format. Armor’s design team can work with Naval Architects or Ship Builders to produce an ICW armour kit that takes into account the hull or superstructure material to form part of the overall solution which in turn provides additional benefits such as increased mission radius due to weight reductions.

All Armor Australia Maritime Armour Solutions can be coated in our proprietary technology Polyurethane ArmorActive to protect them from moisture ingress and the harsh effects of the marine environment.
